UL Rated Ceiling Radiation Damper Assemblies

Royal Metal Products Introduces a Full Line of UL Rated Ceiling Radiation Damper Assemblies for Wood Truss Ceilings.

The Problem

One of the biggest safety issues in wood truss multi-unit apartment, assisted living and other residential dwellings is the risk of fire.

A fire in a single unit can spread into the ceiling, destroying an entire building quickly. Sometimes, so quickly that residents are unable to escape. You see the tragedy on the news much too often.

Heat melts the fusible link and closes the insulated damper. This heat and fire barrier helps prevent the fire from spreading into the roof or other units.

The Solution

Royal's Ceiling Radiation Damper Assemblies reduce the fire safety risk.

These damper assemblies are designed with an insulated damper that closes to create a heat and fire barrier that keep the fire from spreading. Our unique box design and installation add an additional level of safety.

These easy to install assemblies are specially designed to completely restore the entire ceiling to original UL ratings. They reduce the spread of fire, which reduces damage, makes it easier for firefighters to extinguish the fire, and most importantly saves lives.

If your ceiling radiation damper assembly doesn't have this sticker, it may not meet full scale UL 263 testing standards for wood truss ceilings. Don't take chances!
